We drove all day, stopping only a few times and for lunch. We arrived very late in the night to Basel and fortunately our rooms where ready and waiting for us. We stayed at the Solitude Hotel, a beautiful hotel with its own grounds. Centralized in the heart of the city, yet having the solitude the name suggests. Basel, the gateway to the Switzerland Rhineland. Is a region lying along the river Basel and the Rhine.
